Online Safety
Online safety is a core part of our PSHE curriculum and IT curriculum, but also taught in many other lessons when appropriate. As a school, we endeavour to teach pupils about the importance of staying safe online, using the internet appropriately, and what to do should they feel unsafe.
Whilst Haddon Dene aims to give our pupils frequent and valuable opportunties to learn about online safety, it is crucial that parents support this at home. Apps, websites and other platforms are ever-changing and it is important to understand the specfic risks of using them, as well as more general 'common sense' guidelines and practice.
