The challenge of STEM

Years 3-6 became mini engineers today as they embarked on a K’Nex challenge to build the tallest tower from the resources they were given. Working in teams, the children had to communicate and think logically to build a tower which had stability as well as height. The winning teams were those who listened to each other’s ideas and those who all contributed equally.

The winning team for years 3-4 consisted of Mabel, Olivia and Raksiga. In Years 5-6 this was Grace, Eevee and Ruby. As you can see, they built very tall towers indeed!
