Humanities
Our children enjoy a broad humanities curriculum which spans history, geography and religious education.
Children benefit from an array of focused excursions to deepen knowledge of various religions. Gurdwaras, mosques, synagogues and churches are frequented, giving the children the opportunity to see first-hand how religious places and acts of worship vary.
We take full advantage of our proximity to the beach, organising field trips to review geographical concepts such as coastal erosion. Our children are taught about the wealth of rich history from our local area as well as worldly topics such as ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire. As the children progress to upper KS2, they are taught classics where they are captivated by ancient Greek mythology.
