We believe in refining pupil conduct through positive reinforcement. Recognising student’s efforts and achievements is at the heart of everything we do. As a result, our children flourish and grow in confidence.
Every week we hold a celebration assembly where children are selected to receive the coveted red tie for either effort or conduct. They wear this with pride for a week. In class, or on the sports field, children accumulate house points which contribute to overall house totals. We also recognise children for their alignment with our school values. These children are awarded with a certificate during our celebration assembly.
Our children excel in a variety of extra-curricular activities and it is important that they are able to share news of their achievements with their peers. Children frequently bring in their medals, swimming badges, trophies and certificates where we celebrate and applaud children for their efforts.
At the end of the academic year, we hold our annual prize giving ceremony. This is a very special event where children are awarded trophies based on teacher nominations. Parents and families are welcomed to this auspicious event, punctuated by poetry recitals and singing performances.
