All children will sit their SATS examinations from Monday 14th May through to Friday 22nd May of this year. The Year 6 papers are externally marked. The Government takes great interest in the Year 2 and Year 6 results as these are the end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 respectively. It is our expectation that children should achieve at least Level 2 by the end of year 2 and at least Level 4 by the end of Year 6. However we do like to set higher than National Expectations and so we are working towards Level 3 for some Year 2 children and level 5 for many of the Year 6.
