The school offers several lunchtime and after school clubs – these activity-based clubs, which are pupil-driven and vary from term to term, offer a wide choice – from Judo, Rugby, Football, Badminton and Rounders to Ballet, Art, Sewing, Pottery, Cookery, Creative Writing, Science and Street Jazz. Where appropriate they are supervised by school staff with the help of specialist providers and are open to all pupils. The arts and extra curricular activities play a very important part in the lives of all Haddon Dene children who have many opportunities to perform in concerts and productions both formal and informal.

The school has an active Parent Teacher Association which helps organise a number of parent and children events throughout the year such as Quiz Nights, Pancakes (on Pancake Day), the Summer Fete and the Christmas bazaar.
