Regular visits are arranged to places of cultural interest. Each class normally undertakes at least one visit per term and parents are often invited to assist with these trips. Children visit local theatres and drama companies entertain the children in school. During the final year children undertake a visit abroad giving them the opportunity to experience new cultures.

Music lessons are available in a variety of instruments and the school has an excellent choir which competes very successfully in local festivals. Children are given the opportunity to perform regularly in informal concerts. This gives them the opportunity to gain the confidence of perforcamance in a friendly environment.

Drama is another subject which is specialist taught and one of the most popular after school clubs. As well as class assemblies and nativity performances a whole school production is performed in a local theatre at the end of the school year.
