We passionately believe in giving our children the opportunity to voice their ideas and be heard. We have a strong and very active school council. Each class votes in a class representative, modelling a democratic process. They meet regularly, have their own budget to manage and have written their own school improvement plan. The council has been pivotal in improving our school lunch menus and developing our forest school area.
As children progress through the school, they have the opportunity to step into various leadership roles:
- Head Boy & Head Girl
- Head of Manners & Vernon Houses
- Sports Captain
- E-Safety Warriors
- Head of student Council
- Library Monitors
- Office Administrators
Giving children a strong voice correlates with the impeccable behaviour demonstrated by them. They feel a strong sense of belonging and commitment to the school; they feel proud to represent us in the right light.
