A traditional Preparatory School

A traditional preparatory school that encourages confident thinkers

Founded by Miss Olive Vyse in 1929, Haddon Dene Preparatory School has grown from a class of three girls into a popular, co-educational preparatory school for children aged 3 – 11.

Throughout our history, we have ensured a continued traditional approach to learning, and encouraged our pupils to develop into independent and confident thinkers. Through the continued support of the local community, and the maintained dedication of our teachers, our history has been one full of support, encouragement and with an excellent academic reputation.

Because of our traditional approach to learning and strong family atmosphere, we have grown from into a pillar in the local community. Haddon Dene Preparatory School will always be committed to small class sizes, and maximising each child’s potential.
